Beats of Love invites big international names from the current electro scene joined by Belgium's finest dj's. They will electrify the dance-floor. Cupid's arrows won't be needed, because we simply love the beats!
Just as all other Kozzmozz events, quality always comes first! Good music and pleasure go hand in hand which make the atmosphere unique. And with the guests we have in store for you this time, the atmosphere will most definitely be unique.
Because who can resist the beats of Belgium’s world famous Dr. Lektroluv. When this Dr. takes his place behind the decks, there’s no escape, you will get infected by the electro virus and start dancing and screaming your head off ! He’s already proven it on numerous festivals such as Extrema Outdoor and Rock Werchter, from which two live mix compilations of his performances were released. A third one, recorded while he closed the dance hall at Pukkelpop this summer, will be out on September 8th. And off course there’s also the vinyl label Dr. Lektroluv Records with releases by a.o. The Subs !
Another artist who has been known to capture the crowds is Alex Gopher from France. He played a big part in the notoriety of ‘The French touch’ in dance music with his project Superdiscount which consisted of him and Etienne de Crécy. Next to other tracks with Etienne ( a.o. Superdiscount part 2 ) and Air, Alex Gopher also did solo work with the two albums ‘You, my baby and I’ and ‘Wuz’. More recently he released ‘Alex Gopher’, going back to his roots with pop band Orange. He has also remixed a lot of big artists as Kraftwerk, Bob Sinclar, Nightmares on Wax, Téri Moïse, Jean-Louis Aubert, Bootsy Collins, Jamiroquaï, Vanessa Paradis or Sly and Robbie.
Our Belgian guest won the Diesel-U-Music competition in 2005 and has since established himself as a well known name in Belgium and slowly also abroad. Sigi is resident at the Boa parties and Laundry day in Antwerp.
Our resident Spacid hardly needs an introduction. He used to play all the Body to Body parties and now Beats of Love and makes the room explode with each set !

Deplus, vu qu'il célèbre ses 2 ans nous allons tout faire en double, 2 ans, 2 soirées mais concentrons nous déjà sur la première qui n'est pas triste...
Vous vous y déplacez, rassemblez, rencontrez, amusez du soir au matin. Il vous fait découvrir des artistes rarement voir jamais vus en Belgique, il met aussi en avant des dj moins connus mais tout autant méritants que se soit par leur talent ou leur travail. Donner un souffle différent et pousser nos limites est le leitmotiv de ce concept, tous ne pourront malheureusement pas être présents au line up sur une seule soirée faute de temps(pas de nos limites )mais il compte sur vous tous pour son, notre, votre anniversaire 2 years of family baby....just WILDFAMILY !

Retro-Acid is Kozzmozz' second oldest concept and celebrates the infamous Roland TB-303 bass machine. Thé party for the fans of the 303 and it’s unmistakable Acid sound, the machine that formed and shaped electronic music and keeps influencing it. It surely did so in the early days when we loved to dance to it ! And the current Acid revival proves that we still do today !
It also means the Retro Acid parties are still very alive and kicking and again we have invited some international guests that have been active in electronic music for a very long time and know the acid sounds of the beginning like no others …
Our resident Spacid has played a lot of major clubs in Belgium and abroad ( Weekend Club – Berlin, The Key and Trash – Uk , Paradiso and Melkweg – Nl , … ) but he’s still at his best at home !
Tyree Cooper is one of the originators of Acid House, pioneering the sound back in the 80´ies from Chicago. Ben Sims is known for his trademark funky/ tribal Techno but Acid is one of his favorite styles and he even puts on Acid parties in London himself sometimes.
Ben and Tyree were booked together for a show years ago, by chance, and Tyree just started to MC over Ben´s set ( he was playing Techno then) and the crowd loved it. As Tyree is one of Ben´s oldest heroes and they got on so well, they asked their agent to find them some more gigs together, preferably for Acid House. And that´s how this unusual but amazing collaboration started …

Next to this extravaganza, we also bring you a Belgian live-act with X&Trick, the leading force behind the Bug Klinik label and parties next to numerous others events. Bugklinik recently expanded with a web-label and booking-agency and X-trick is also working on new projects such as Endiku. His liveset is not the usual 'laptop' live but combines laptop, midi controllers, kaos pad and microphone.
JRD, based in Antwerp, originally from Holland, got interested in dance music when New-beat and Acid-house was introduced. Since than he has been playing records and experiencing the evolution of electronic dance music. He’s the founder of the Dutch Resistance-concept in Antwerp and one of the resident powers at Technoir and Metrotechno. This night he will go back to the start, 20 years ago, 1988, Acieeeeed !

Adepte d’une techno énergique et groovy, il nous réserve un set hors du commun pour son premier dj set dans la capitale. Enjoy !
